Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Battered Bauer Supreme 96 skates were worn by Ken Morrow towards the end of his career, as he recalls, as a member of the New York Islanders. The Bauer boots are mounted to white Tuuk blade holders and both skates show tremendous wear with loads of puck marks and slashes to the white plastic holder and numerous scuffs and scraps to the boot material. "Wolf" is marked in black inside each skate, referring to Ken's nickname given because of his bearded face. Also included in the lot is Ken's knee brace, worn around the same period, complete with its original zippered bag with the embroidered "Ken". From the collection of Ken Morrow, complete with his signed letter of authenticity.
