This sharp, EX/NM program is from game seven of the 1965 Stanley Cup Final, played May 1st at the Montreal Forum between the Canadiens and the Chicago Blackhawks. Habs captain Jean Beliveau scored 14 seconds into the game, and Montreal added three more first period goals and then let goalie Gump Worsley take it from there, leading to a 4-0 victory and the Canadiens sixth Cup in 10 years. Beliveau was named the inaugural winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP after scoring 16 points in 13 games, while Worsley won his first Stanley Cup after 12 years in the League. Dick Duff, featured on the cover, had a goal in the game and was a strong performer throughout the playoffs.
