Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012

The night of April 16, 1953 at the Montreal Forum has forever been immortalized by the image of a joyous Maurice Richard leaping into the arms of his linemate Elmer Lach, who had just scored in overtime to give his team a 1-0 win over Boston, and with it the Canadiens' first Stanley Cup in seven years. The iconic goal came less than two minutes into the first overtime period of game five in the finals, and, as legend has it, the Rocket's jubilant celebration broke Lach's nose. The offered program from that historic evening is in terrific EX/NM condition, and it has been autographed on the line-up pages by HOFers Doug Harvey, Toe Blake, Dick Irvin, Tom Johnson and Frank Selke, plus Billy Reay.
