The Boston Bruins were a dominant team in 1940-41, losing only 8 of 48 games in a season that included a record 23-game unbeaten streak. They were led by Bill Cowley, who won the scoring race and the Hart Trophy, the "Kraut Line" of Schmidt, Bauer and Dumart, and the stellar goaltending of Frank Brimsek. All contributed to a playoff run that ultimately saw them sweep the Detroit Red Wings 4-0 in the Stanley Cup Final, the first team in NHL history to do so. Offered here is a complete, EX+ program from the final game, played April 12, 1941 at Detroit's Olympia, and won 3-1 by the Bruins. Included is a ticket stub issued to a member of the press (which shows "Game 5" as it was Detroit's fifth home game of the playoffs).
