Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Between 1975-76 and 1978-79 the Montreal Canadiens won 229 games, lost only 46, and collected four straight Stanley Cups. They will always be remembered as one of the greatest teams in hockey history, with at least nine future Hall of Famers on their roster all four seasons. This 48-page album of color player photos and profiles has been neatly autographed in fine blue marker by an amazing 22 players (and Claude Ruel), including HOFers Dryden, Lafleur, Cournoyer, Shutt, Gainey, Lemaire, Savard, Robinson and Langway, plus Risebrough, Tremblay, Lambert, Jarvis, Mondou, Houle, Larouche, Napier, Hughes, Engblom, Chartraw, Lupien and Larocque. As nice a record of this legendary team as one could hope to find. Yearbook exhibits water stains/creases in the top left corner area throughout the program, which doesn't affect any of the autographs.
