Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
In game number three of his debut season, on October 23, 1966 at the Boston Garden, Boston rookie Bobby Orr scored his first ever goal by beating Montreal's Gump Worsley with a 50-foot slap shot, drawing a prolonged ovation from the home crowd. The Bruins would go on to lose the game 3-2 to the Canadiens, but better days were ahead; while Orr would go on to score another 295 goals in his all too brief NHL career. This historic program is complete and in EX+ condition, while the rare ticket stub is in sharp EX/NM shape. A key piece in any Bobby Orr collection.
