Heading into the final game of the 1961-62 season, Bobby Hull was on the verge of glory with 49 goals; one short of the magic 50 mark reached only by Montreal legends Rocket Richard and Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion. Hull's Blackhawks were in Madison Square Garden that evening, March 25, 1962, to face the New York Rangers and their top forward, Andy Bathgate, who was tied with Hull for the NHL scoring lead. Both stars played an amazing 33 minutes in the game, won 4-1 by the Rangers, but the Hawks' lone goal was scored by the Golden Jet against the Rangers' Gump Worsley, giving him both a piece of hockey history and his first Art Ross trophy. The offered program from that historic game is complete and in solid EX condition, with light wear overall.
