Intriguing piece for Bobby Orr maniacs, this wooden puck's story is on an engraved plaque within a plexi-glass-like frame. It reads "Puck carved from wood used in Armand La Montagne's sculpture of Bobby Orr - March 15, 1989." Lovely gold ink signatures of Orr and LaMontagne are penned to the puck, which is numbered "1263/1850." LaMontagne is considered the premier wood portrait sculptor in the world, his carvings of Orr, Carl Yastremski and Larry Bird on display at Boston's Sports Museum of New England and his statues of Ruth and Williams at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Frame here measures 8" square, with a small crack to the plexiglass, and will surely fit perfectly into your ever-growing Orr display!
