Guess who's coming to dinner? Members of the 1972 Stanley Cup winning Boston Bruins - in the form of these 19 dishes. Gerry Cheevers signed his tray in gold marker. Orr, Esposito, Bailey, and Bucyk highlight the set. A definite two-way collection, these items can be used to serve snacks during the game or as plaques on a wall or display case. Minor scuffing doesn't detract from the vivid and shiny colours. Melamine, 5 1/4" square, made in Italy. Originally sold at the Bruins Pro Shop in the old Boston Garden, Hockey Enterprises sold them through mail order, as seen is this vintage ad from the October 27, 1972 issue of The Hockey News. Ad measures 10 x 13 " and has one small crease in lower left corner, yellowing along right edge with a small tear half-way down.
