Perfect pairing of game worn jersey and game used gloves from one of the game's most talented defenseman, Raymond Bourque. Bourque was in his mid-30s when he wore this black Bruins jersey during the '95-96 season. The size 54 fly tag is there in the collar by the CCM/Maska label has been removed. Raymond's captain's "C" is displayed on the left breast, with a slight lift to the top corner, a characteristic that appears in a number of action photos from the season. The shortened sleeves reveal game wear in the form of a handful of stick marks and board burns and we spot another dozen marks on the front. Screening on the inner rear hem reads "Lettering by Custom Crafted" and "Official Boston Bruins 1st Set - 1995-96 Season." The legendary Bruin has signed the jersey in black marker on the back numbers. Also included is a pair of Ray's game used gloves by Sherwood. Both mitts display great game wear and good use in the palms. Each has "Bourque #77" in graphics on a side roll and Ray has signed both gloves on the thumb in silver paint pen. The only blueliner to score more than 400 (410) regular season goals, Ray had his number 77 retired by both the Bruins and Avalanche prior to the 2001-02 season. From the collection of former NHL'er Garry Galley with his signed letter of authenticity.
