Mark Recchi, Russ Courtnall and Martin Rucinsky are featured in this big lot of 11 game-used sticks from 1980s and 1990s members of the Montreal Canadiens. Recchi has signed in blue marker low on the back of the shaft of his solid, crack-free Koho wood gamer. Sticks used by Svoboda, Chabot, Robidas, Lefebvre and Stevenson are among the others included here, most of which were used while they played for the Habs. Please see our website description for more information. “Recchi” is stamped on the shaft of his gamer, which displays light but obvious use, including a black mark low on the shaft and retains Recchi’s original tape jobs on the knob and blade;
“Rucinsky 26” is stamped on the shaft of his solid, crack-free Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 gamer, which retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade, which has worn through along the bottom edge of its smooth blade;
“Courtnall 6” is stamped on the shaft of Courtnall’s Sher-Wood PMP 7030 game-used stick. His black tape job on the blade has worn through along the bottom edge of this solid, crack-free gamer, which also retains his original white tape knob;
“Svoboda 25” is stamped on the shaft of Petr’s blue Sher-Wood gamer which has his original black tape knob. The very worn white tape job on the blade exposes a cracked bottom edge of the blade;
Robidas has signed the heel of his Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 gamer with “Robidas 56” stamped on the shaft which retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade;
“Rivet” is stamped on the shaft of Craig’s Bauer Supreme wood gamer with a white tape knob and worn black tape job on the blade;
“Stevenson 30” is stamped on the shaft of Turner’s Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 gamer with white gauze tape that has begun to unravel on the custom-shaved knob and a bare blade that was shaved smooth exposing bare wood along the bottom edge;
“Darby 63” Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 gamer has tape jobs on the knob and blade, which has a crack in the middle of the bottom edge;
“Lefebvre 24” is stamped on the shaft of Sylvain’s Sher-Wood PMPX 9970 gamer that retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade, which is cracked along the bottom edge;
Patrick Traverse’s two-piece Koho stick has a dedicated signature on the toe of the wood blade insert with “Traverse” stamped on the front and retains the lanky defenseman’s tape jobs on the blade, shaft and knob;
“Chabot 16” stamped on the shaft of John’s Sher-Wood PMP 9030 means it wasn’t used while he played for the Canadiens (think Henri Richard), though it’s a beauty of a gamer nonetheless, with his original tape jobs on the knob and blade.
