"Lafleur, coming out rather gingerly now..." Danny Gallivan's famous words perfectly set up the Flower's legendary goal in Game 7 of the Canadiens' 1979 semi-final win over Boston, as did HOF centre Jacques Lemaire's pass. Lemaire left a perfect drop pass for Lafleur as the Habs made Don Cherry pay big time for the Bruins' too-many-men penalty. "J. Lemaire" is stamped on the shaft of his Canadien game-used stick from the latter stages of his great NHL playing career. The stick, which has his #25 written in red marker, remains exactly how Lemaire prepared his gamers, with a black tape knob and blackened bare blade. The top and bottom edges of the blade are cracked on this otherwise solid game-used stick. [red]Addendum; The stick doesn't comes with a Jacques Lemaire's signed LOA.[/red]
