The best defenseman of his era and quarterback of Montreal's potent championship teams of the 1950s, Doug Harvey used this CCM Pattern Made Pro model stick during the Canadiens 1955-56 Stanley Cup season. Lighter, but legible green ballpoint signatures along one side of the shaft include the marks made by Doug Harvey, Bouchard, Talbot, H. Richard, Beliveau, Geoffrion, Mosdell, Olmstead, Curry, Leclair, Provost, Marshall and one another. Stamped "HARVEY" and "2" on the front of the shaft, it has a small knob of black tape covered by a few turns of aged white cloth tape. The blade taping is no longer present and the blade exhibits wood chipping at the tip and again at the heel. Also of note, some areas of the graphics on both sides of the shaft have been darkened using a marker by a previous owner. The signatures vary in strength, a few are lighter but most are very easy to discern.
