Two-time 50-goal scorer Stephane Richer had a Stanley Cup to his credit and his big offensive years just ahead of him when he wore this photo-matched Canadiens jersey during his sophomore season in 1986-87. Loose threads on this #44 Richer gamer offer the key to the matches to a photo of Richer in uniform. "86 04" born-on and Maska Ultrafil flag tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is intact and whole. Loads of great game wear shows in extensive team repairs and pilling inside the jersey. Please see our website description for more information about this fantastic Richer gamer which comes with a Classic Auctions LOA and a digital copy of the photo matches. Three distinct areas on the right side of the jersey offer solid photo matches. A red thread on the right “4” in the double twill numbers on the right sleeve is clear to see in the photo. Two more matches are clear on the right shoulder, including a pair of white threads where the shoulder and arm seams meet, as well as a small pack of red threads to the left along the seam between the red shoulder yoke and the white sleeve.
All of the small threads on the top area of the CH crest also show though they aren’t photo-matched. Loads of great game wear includes a pair of blue thread team repairs on the front hem, more than 20 extensive sewing fixes on the sleeves, black marks on the front tail and sleeves and pilling inside the sleeves and behind the CH crest.
