This dazzling and spectacular diamond and gold championship creation represents the culmination of the Montreal Canadiens' amazing run of five straight Stanley Cups. A total of 30 diamonds are displayed on this fabulous piece of jewelry produced in 10K gold by Jostens as Jacques Plante's 1959-60 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup championship ring recreated for the late goalie's family. A raised gold Stanley Cup is surrounded by 22 diamonds on the tableau. Four more diamonds are displayed on each side of the bezel, which features "Montreal" and "Canadiens" in raised gold at the top and bottom, respectively. "J. Plante" is engraved on the top of the left shank with a fabulous enamel CH logo below it and Plante's retired No. 1 engraved at the bottom. The right shank reads: "Coupe Stanley Cup Champions" in raised gold letters with "1959-60" engraved on a banner below it and an image of the exterior of the old Montreal Forum in relief at the bottom. The size 10 band has "10K" and the other proper markings stamped inside. It also has "Replica" engraved inside to indicate that the ring was produced at a later date and is not the original ring from 1959-60. A fantastic Stanley Cup championship ring in essentially pristine condition, it comes with a Classic Auctions letter of authenticity.
