This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
This puck-shaped 626 model Canadian Marconi transistor radio was produced as a tribute to Maurice Richard's career goal total (including playoffs). With a golden facsimile autograph of the Rocket on its face, this 4" diameter radio shows moderate handling with more details on our website description. Comes with its original box, which also contains an instruction booklet, a metal stand, two like-new leather straps and earphone with pouch. Black plastic puck-shaped radio displays a vivid “9 Marconi 626” decal with crossed hockey sticks on the front and a solid Maurice Richard facsimile autograph above it. An arrow-shaped piece of tape was placed on the edge adjacent to the dial to help its owner locate a radio station. There are light scuffs, a bit of residue around the edge and a chipped edge at the bottom with a small piece missing from the cover where the radio is opened to replace the battery. The top back edge has a spot of roughness with residue. The box displays a fine image of Richard on the cover, has a bit of insignificant paper loss on the cover and a loose label on the back side.
