Maurice Richard originally presented this huge team photo of the 1953-54 Canadiens to Montreal barber Tony Bergeron, whose name appears twice on both the extreme left and extreme right side of this 21" x 36" studio print. The Rocket is seated first on the left in the front row along with Lach, Olmstead, coach Dick Irvin, GM Frank Selke and Geoffrion. Mosdell and Curry are in the middle of the second row, and Beliveau, Bouchard, St. Laurent and Johnson stand out in the third row. The print's original 27" x 42 '" wood frame has nice detailing, as well as a thin brass lamp fixture attached to the middle of the top of the frame. See additional details on our website. A great addition to any Richard/Beliveau/Habs shrine. This original studio-mounted framed print has a fair bit of surface damage to note on the left side, with creases, cracks and splits, particularly through Harvey on the left end of the top row, as well as Lach and Richard. Small portions of the print have been torn off from the bottom left corner, along the left side of the top edge, as well as on the bottom right edge beside goalie Gerry McNeil. Overall this scarce, large size, Famous Studio original team photo displays well.
