This classic colorized image of the two-time Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens lined up outside the fabled Forum after their Cup run in the spring of 1931 is all original. Howie Morenz and Aurele Joliat stand on either side of goalie George Hainsworth in the middle along with the likes of Gagnon, Burke, Lepine, Leduc, Mondou, Larochelle, Rivers, Wasnie, Lesieur, the Mantha brothers, coach Cecil Hart and Leo Dandurand. "We recommend Frontenac Export Ale" appears in both English and French. This 80-year-old relic retains marvelous red-white-and-blue colors on the Habs uniforms. This vintage promotional piece shows its age with extensive vertical creasing to the Rice Studios print. The 17" x 34" wood frame shows wear on the edges but is the original and highly-sought-after style with the Frontenac Ale identifier engraved into the wood at the top and bottom. The framed ad still displays very nicely and will make a welcome addition to your Habs shrine.
