The NHL's 750th game Tiffany crystal milestone award, presented to Jacques Lemaire, and game pucks from his 500th win and 1,000th game as an NHL coach are featured here. This lot of coaching milestone memorabilia from Lemaire's personal collection also includes a game puck plaque from the Minnesota Wild's first road win and a set of homey cufflinks commemorating the Wild's first playoff appearance in 2003. Lemaire signed the base of the Tiffany & Co. crystal, which stands a shade under 9" tall, as well as the back of the Wild first road win game puck plaque. Please see our website description for more information about this lot, which comes with Jacques Lemaire's signed LOA. “Congratulations on Coaching your 750th NHL Game” appears below Lemaire’s name and team on the face of the Tiffany & Co. crystal, along with “Toronto at Minnesota, December 11, 2003, Gary B. Bettman and the National Hockey League”. The Tiffany & Co Made in Japan sticker remains on the bottom right of the front of the award, which Lemaire signed in blue marker across the bottom of the 5” long base which has “Tiffany & Co” etched on the bottom. This crystal award remains a magnificent display piece despite handling that includes scratches as well as a pair of chips on the front bottom edge and another on the upper left side;
“1000th NHL Game, 12.18.2007 vs Nashville” is printed on a band of tape wrapped around a Wild NHL official game puck;
“500th NHL Win, 4.3.2008 vs Calgary” is printed on a band of tape wrapped around a Wild NHL official game puck;
Lemaire signed in blue marker on the back of a plaque with the game puck commemorating the Wild’s first road win in Calgary on November 5, 2000. A Calgary Flames NHL official game puck is mounted in the middle of the 18” x 12 ½” wooden plaque which features the facsimile signatures of the Wild players and the final result of the game, a 3-2 overtime win over the Flames;
The embroidered Wild logo appears on the front of a pair of cuff links with gold-colored backing. A note inside the cuff links box that states “Wild clinch playoffs, first time” is dated March 23, 2003.
