Big lot of Montreal Canadiens memorabilia from Jacques Lemaire's personal collection includes the 1979 frame from the city of Montreal presented to the Habs' Hall of Fame centre as a member of the Stanley Cup champions. Montreal Mayor Jean Drapeau's signature appears at the bottom of the print displayed in a 13 3/4" x 15 3/4" silver-colored frame. Lemaire has signed the reverse of a 24" x 19" artwork featuring a striking likeness of himself in uniform. Also featured are some 50 hockey cards signed by Lemaire, a vintage 1963-64 Junior Canadiens David Bier team photo and an early 1990s Frederiction Canadiens CH pendant, just to name a few. Mayor Drapeau signed in black and Lemaire’s full name and the date May 21, 1979 along with the notation “in commemoration of the 22nd Stanley Cup”, all in French, appears in the bottom right corner of the framed late-1870s scene of Montreal City Hall from Place Jacques Cartier;
Lemaire signed in blue marker on the reverse of his portrait on textured cardboard, all set for suitable framing with handling, including scratches, light marks and water stains along the edges that do not diminish its display;
50 signed Lemaire hockey cards;
Framed vintage 8x10 David Bier embossed print of 1963-64 OHA Montreal Junior Canadiens with Lemaire beside Savard on the right end of the second row, and Pollock between captain Boudrias and Cournoyer in the front row. Remains a fine display piece despite tear on the middle of the right edge and creasing;
CH logo pendant with “Canadiens de Fredericton, Jean-Claude Bergeron” engraved on the reverse;
Pair of like-new vintage CCM “Jacques Lemaire” size 6 hockey skates;
Jacques has signed in blue marker two 8x10 color shots of him skating with the Stanley Cup in 1979, 7x10 David Bier embossed print of Lemaire and Doug Harvey in old-timers dressing room shot, late 1960s 8x10 of Lemaire, Savard, Vadnais and Palchak with the Cup, 8x10 of Lemaire with Lafleur and Shutt at 1976-77 Molson Cup presentation; modern print 8x10 of early-1970s action shot of Lemaire, British Leyland Lemaire caricature cell;
Programs include 3 Montreal Forum programs from Lemaire’s 1967-68 rookie season, 2 Red Wing Magazine programs, one from 1967-68 and another from 1968-69 with writing on the cover, both with feature stories on Lemaire, a 1984-85 Les Canadiens magazine with water damage, a 1966-67 CPHL Oklahoma Blazers program with Lemaire listed in the Houston Apollos’ lineup, a February 1973 Hockey World magazine with Lemaire on the cover; two programs from Swiss team Sierre, including one from 1979 with Lemaire as player/coach and a Sierre team photo postcard with an inset photo of Lemaire, and a printed roster with Lemaire as the coach of QMJHL Longueuil;
Huge 21”-tall hockey player trophy with “Jacques Lemaire” plaque on the bottom of the wood base for a 1991 Pepsi Challenge old-timers game featuring the Canadiens old-timers;
Jacques has signed in fine ballpoint below his photo on four vintage autograph cards;
