Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Hundreds of frosted glass panels form a massive wall at the rear of the Great Hall in Toronto's Hockey Hall of Fame. Two identical panels are produced, one for the wall and the other to give to the honoured member, in this case Montreal Canadiens great Jacques Lemaire. This HOF dual-pane glass panel from Lemaire's personal collection measures 12" x 12" and features a great image of Lemaire. The English and French bio points out that this supremely talented two-way centre won an astounding eight Stanley Cups over the course of his 12-year playing career! A classy piece of hockey history, it remains in gorgeous condition and notes Lemaire's induction year of 1984. It also indicates that this panel was presented to him when the Hall of Fame relocated to its current home in 1993. Comes with Jacques Lemaire's signed LOA.
