Lots of dazzling scorchers and some low pops in this outstanding set of 1962-63 Parkhurst cards to tell you about, all of them slabbed by PSA. Leading the way are a dozen Mint 9 cards, with the number of cards having been graded higher by PSA at press time in brackets. Hall-of-Famers include #s 4-Mahovlich (1), 5-Kelly (1), 11-Pulford (0), 16-Bower (4), 21-Ullman (0) and 39-Beliveau (3). Other Mint 9s are the Tally Game Card (0), 17-Hillman (4), 35-Lunde (2), 36-Godfrey (1), 46-Tremblay (0) and 51-Talbot (1). Delvecchio (#32) is the lone NM-MT+ 8.5 representative and is followed by (27) cards at NM-MT 8, including 1-Harris, 7-Horton, 14-Shack, 18-Mahovlich, 30-Howe, 38-Richard, 48-Geoffrion, 49-Plante, 53-Geoffrion and 54-JC Tremblay RC. Others are #s 3, 6, 9, 10, 12, 20, 22, 24, 26, 29, 37, 41, 43, 44, 47, 50 and 52. At NM+ 7.5 is 40-Hicke, while coming in at NM 7 are (13) cards, including 15-Keon, 31-Howe and the Tally (Checklist) Card, as well as #s 2, 8, 13, 19, 23, 25, 27, 33, 42 and 45. Just two cards (28, 34-Abel) don’t make it to NM 7, having been deemed EX 5. The set grade and rating is 7.873, which ranks 18th on the PSA Set Registry.
