Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin began his already impressive haul of NHL hardware by claiming the Calder Trophy as the league's rookie-of-the-year in 2006-07. Chosen second overall behind fellow Russian Alex Ovechkin in the 2004 draft, Malkin had 33 goals and 52 assists for an impressive 85 points in his first season in Pittsburgh. Offered here are his Penguins game-worn Nike Bauer pants from his Calder-winning rookie campaign. This all-black style was last worn during the 2006-07 season by the Penguins, who added gold and white stripes to the sides when the Reebok Edge uniforms were introduced the following year. Nike Bauer logo is embroidered on the bottom of the front left pant leg and the NHL shield is sewn on the lower right rear. All of the padding is intact and these black beauties show game use in the form of stick marks and board burns, including lots on the right hip. A white patch with "Malkin" embroidered in black is sewn inside the back of the pants, which have size large/long +1 tagging. A fantastic find and sure to attract a lot of attention, these game-worn Malkin rookie season pants come with an LOA.
