Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Fabulous souvenirs from the first game ever at Montreal's Jarry Park in the spring of 1969. Included here are a program and ticket stub from the Expos' game against St. Louis on April 14 as well as a first season Expos yearbook and team schedule. The bleacher ticket stub measures approximately 21/2" by 51/2" and is in crease-free, excellent-plus condition. The batting lineups of both teams have been handwritten in ballpoint along with the date on the lineup card in the centerfold of the inaugural home game program. The 72-page yearbook features a beautiful color centerfold team photo of the original Expos, along with individual pictures and profiles. The Expos' 1969 home schedule is laid out in the bilingual ticket order pamphlet. Great pieces of Expos' history!
