Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

Fantastic vintage CFL uniform was donned by British Columbia-born Bill Crawford, the first Canadian university product to make the NFL, joining the N.Y. Giants in 1960, straight from UBC! The 6'1" guard joined the CFL's Calgary Stampeders in 1962, with this jersey showing Bill was involved in many a battle that season. Red durene beauty has sewn-on numbers and numerous material-backed team repairs, including three 6" vertical jobs to the right of the "0" on the front, to bring together a trio of runs. We spot six others on the front and four lengthy ones on the left sleeve. A half-dozen dime-size holes, slits in the "5" (front) and "0" (back), and moderate pilling are also to mention. Matching red socks and two Post Cereal trading cards of Crawford are included with this dandy find.
