Green Pride is on full display all over this massive and mesmerizing diamond and gold creation presented to a player on the 2007 Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. Rare indeed is the opportunity to bid on a championship ring of such recent vintage and this one will have particular appeal to those football fanatics on the Canadian prairies who eat, sleep and dream in Roughriders green. Saskatchewan, which won CFL titles in 1966 and 1989, claimed its third championship at the 95th Grey Cup game in 2007. Eighteen years after he led the Riders to their second Grey Cup as quarterback, Saskatchewan head coach Kent Austin guided his team to a 23-19 win over Winnipeg on November 25, 2007 at Toronto's Rogers Centre. A total of some 70 diamonds adorn this championship ring which was presented to Jovon Johnson, who was injured and did not dress for the game. Diamonds are set in the "S" of the team logo in white gold on the face of the ring which is surrounded by still more diamonds and has a large green stone set beneath it. "Grey Cup" is spelled out in raised white gold on the upper bezel with "Champions" along the lower bezel, and diamonds lining both sides. Six diamonds are set across the top of the left shank, which features "Johnson", "Now is our time" beneath a Roughriders logo with green enamel paint, and "Riders 23, Bombers 19", and number "28", all in raised white gold. Six more diamonds adorn the top of the right shank, which features the CFL logo with red and black enamel paint set across the bottom of the middle of three Grey Cup trophies. Three green-colored stones are set in the bowl of the large Grey Cup in the middle which is bookended by "2007" in raised white gold. "66" and "89" and engraved, respectively, on the bowls of the two other Grey Cups. "BELIEVE" is stamped in large letters inside the band along with the "Intergold 10K" stamp. This superb size 10 Grey Cup diamond and gold ring rests in a burgundy pouch and comes along with its original 5" x 8" display box which stands 2 1/2" tall and has "Saskatchewan Roughriders" and "2007 Grey Cup Champions" etched in its glass top.
