Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Vintage 1940s Munro table-top hockey game and a Texaco NHL puck display plaque from the 1980s make up this appealing lot. Rudimentary, pinball-style Munro game is intact and comes with two metal balls and its original shipping box. Game retains vibrant colors and is in working order, ready for action. Also included here is a wood plaque display Texaco made available to its customers when the NHL was a 21-team league in the 1980s. All of the league's teams of the time are represented on this display featuring 22 Viceroy pucks with screened logos, including one of the NHL shield in the middle of the plaque, and blank reverses. The wood plaque in the shape of a shield measures 22" x 20 1/2" at its largest points. The pucks are in strong excellent-plus condition overall, with only a few with nicks on the screened team logos to note, and the plaque itself remains in nice shape overall.
