Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Offered here are a pair of official programs from two Ottawa Senators home games in during the 1933-34 season, which would prove to be the last NHL campaign for the original edition of the franchise. The complete 20-page program from the game against the New York Americans at the Ottawa Auditorium on February 13, 1934 comes with vintage Sens newspaper clippings. The January 11 program for the Senators' game against the Rangers is missing the bottom part of a page where a Colonial Coach Lines contest entry form was clipped out, though photos and bios of Finnigan and Connell on the reverse are unaffected and remain. The program is otherwise complete. Both programs have been folded vertically through the middle and have some handwritten notations such as dates on the covers and game results on the lineup page.
