Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
The four personalized NHL All-Star Game gifts offered here come from Hall-of-Famer Norm Ullman's personal collection. An 11-time participant in the league's showcase game, Norm gathered a variety of gifts over the course of his great playing career, including the three English steel knife sets and jewelry box featured here. "Norman Ullman" appears in gold lettering on the cover of each box, all of which also feature the number of the particular All-Star game, the host city and the year of the game. A red box from the 1955 game in Detroit contains six steak knives, as does a brown box from the 1967 game in Montreal, while a grey box holds a three-knife carving set from the 1965 game in Montreal. A leather jewelry box from the 1963 game in Toronto completes this collection, which will be accompanied by Norm Ullman's signed LOA.
