Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
The 1968 Calder Trophy winner and a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Big Bad Bruins, Derek Sanderson used this Sher-Wood gamer towards the end of his career in the mid- to late-1970s. “Sanderson” is stamped on the front of the shaft and “19” - a number he wore with the St. Louis Blues – is handwritten in black marker below Derek’s well-worn original tape job on the knob. The top and bottom edges are chipped on the bare blade, which we believe never had any tape applied and exhibits nice game use in the form of various puck marks. This fine Sanderson gamer is otherwise intact and comes with an LOA.
