Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

Frantisek Musil wore this soiled Edmonton Oilers home gamer in 2000-01, the Czech defenseman’s 14th and final NHL season. Frank had two assists in 13 games to wrap up an NHL career that began with the Minnesota North Stars and also saw him play for Calgary and Ottawa. Elite Sports and size 58 fly tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is intact on this gamer which exhibits a fair amount of wear considering its obviously limited use. Both cuffs exhibit stains and soiling, particularly the right sleeve, which has several cut holes, as well as paint transfer and stick marks in addition to a huge soiling stain. More wear shows in the stick marks on the upper right front of the jersey, which has an Elite patch sewn into the rear hem indicating this gamer is from the Oilers’ first set of the 2000-01 season.
