Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Czech defenseman Roman Hamrlik’s 1999-2000 Edmonton Oilers gamer features the “NHL 2000” patch sewn on the right breast. The equipment staff’s handiwork with the needle and thread is clear to see on this gamer from the Oilers’ second season set of road jerseys. A V-shaped team repair is one of two sewing fixes on the left sleeve, which also features board burns on the elbow and stick marks. Another pair of team repairs on the right sleeve includes a 3-inch long fix at the top of the elbow. More wear shows in stick marks on both the front and rear tails. Pro Player tagging remains in the neck along with size 58 and Elite Sportswear fly tags. An Elite “Edmonton Oilers Set #2 99/00” patch is sewn inside the rear tail and the fight strap is intact. Comes with an LOA signed by GM Kevin Lowe on Oilers letterhead which has a MeiGray holofoil affixed to it.
