Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Defenseman Lyle Odelein wore this white Chicago Black Hawks gamer at the end of the 2001-02 season after he was acquired in a trade with Columbus. Even though the accompanying Black Hawks LOA signed by GM Mike Smith states that this gamer was from the first set of the season, game use in the form of stick marks to the right of the #7 on the back of the jersey and on the lower front makes it clear that this jersey was worn by Odelein, who played 12 regular season games with the Hawks and 4 more in the playoffs. Red paint transfer appears on a board burn on the back of the right sleeve. CCM “Made in Canada” and size 58 fly tags remain in the neck. The fight strap is intact and “4” is written in black marker on the reverse of the NHL shield on the inside rear hem.
