Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Classic red Chicago Black Hawks jersey was worn by defenseman Lyle Odelein late in the 2001-02 season after he was acquired in a trade with Columbus. Odelein, who won a Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1993, appeared in 12 regular season games with the Hawks and four more in the playoffs. Made in Canada fly tag remains in the neck as does the size 58 fly tag, which has been sewn over by nameplate stitching. The fight strap is intact though the team-issued season set patch has been removed from the inner rear hem. Game use appears in the form of marks on the lower front of the jersey and both sleeves, and a nice board burn on the left sleeve. Comes with an LOA on Black Hawks letterhead signed by GM Mike Smith.
