Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Vivid orange Flyers gamer was worn by Steve Duchesne during the veteran defenseman's second go-round with Philadelphia in 1998-99. Acquired from Los Angeles late in the season, Duchesne recorded 7 points in 11 regular season games in Philly. He also had 2 assists in 6 playoff games. Tag attached to the fight strap by Byron's Hockeyland indicates that this gamer was from the Flyers' second set of the 1998-99 season. A pair of team repairs on the right sleeve, unrepaired board burn holes on both sleeves and stick marks on both arms and across the front of the jersey testify to its game use. Rubberized "NHL Player" logo is screened onto the back of the neck beside the sewn-on Nike Team Sports size 54 tag with Duchesne's number "25" written in black marker. Comes with an LOA.
