Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Distinctive black marks on the "4" in the #14 sewn on the back of Brian Gionta's 2008-09 New Jersey Devils gamer worn during the Stanley Cup playoffs provide a photo match. The marks appear faintly and in the proper location on the left side of the white-and-black double twill number "4" on the back in an 8" x 10" action photo which accompanies this jersey. Elastic material has been sewn into both team-customized cuffs on this gamer from the Devils' third season set of home jerseys worn at the end of the 2008-09 campaign and on into the playoffs. A pair of team repairs are located on the right sleeve. Size 52 "Made in Canada" Canadian flag fly tag remains in the neck and the fight strap is intact. A MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2008-2009 Season patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Copies of MeiGray documentation - including a copy of Devils president and GM Lou Lamoriello's signed LOA on his official team letterhead - accompany this Gionta playoff gamer.
