Hall of Famer Ron Francis wore this Pittsburgh Penguins #10 alternate captain's jersey during the 1995-96 season. Francis, who was inducted into the HOF in 2007, scored 27 goals and had career highs with 92 assists and 119 points yet still finished third in team scoring behind Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr ? no shame there! Ronnie Franchise scored 549 goals with Hartford, Pittsburgh, Carolina and Toronto and averaged over 1 point per game despite playing a total of 1,731 regular season games? third all-time behind only Gordie Howe and Mark Mesier. His 1,249 career assists are more than anyone not named Wayne Gretzky and his 1,798 career points are fourth all-time behind The Great One, Moose and Mr. Hockey. This awesome Penguins gamer with an intact fight strap has Francis' number "10" and alternate captain's "A" written in faded black marker on the CCM fly tag in the neck, with a size 52 fly tag to its left. Game wear shows in a small team repair to the left of the black-and-yellow double twill #10 sewn on the right sleeve, as well as a stick mark on the number on the left sleeve and numerous pulls on the airknit fabric on the back of both sleeves and lower left front of the jersey. Comes with the original Teletrade auction purchase receipt/LOA.
