Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Vintage style Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn during the 1981-82 season by Normand Aubin in his rookie campaign. This one shows evidence of a nameplate change and was most likely worn the season prior by Robert Picard who is listing in the media guide as wearing the number "24" that year. Aubin saw action in 43 games, scoring 14 goals for a respectable first outing. The lightweight knit has Maska sewn onto the tail with the Superfil tag in the collar next to a washed out size 50 label. Sixteen stitched repairs litter the front of the uniform with fourteen more on the sleeves. A well-washed and worn example with reinforced elbows and a loop fighstrap in the tail. Comes with the original purchase receipt from Murf Denny, dated 1993.
