Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Desirable vintage Turn Back the Clock style worn only during selected games during the National Hockey League's 75th anniversary season in 1991-92. This example was worn by Detroit Red Wings superstar Sergei Fedorov during a season that the Russian-born sniper netted 32 goals and tallied a total of 86 regular season points. Tagged in the neck by Maska Ultrafil with a size 52 fly tag nearby and the expected Eastside Sporting Goods label just above. "Fedorov" and "91" are sewn on the back and the NHL's 75th Anniversary patch decorates the upper right breast. Obvious game wear here includes numerous scuffs and scattered stick marks on the front and arms to add to four stitched team repairs. A hard-to-locate style worn by one of the top scorers ever to come out of the Soviet Union.
