Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Scarce example from the widely-discussed mesh Stall & Dean Vancouver Canucks jersey set, ordered by the team for use in 1977-78 and never worn. This one, crested and numbered for netminder Caesar Maniago does have game wear but experts and collectors feel any wear on these was added after they were sold to the public by the company who did the sewing for the 'Nucks back in the day. Tagged in the collar by Stall & Dean with size 54 written in pen on the fly tag below nearby the washing instructions label. A few stick marks appear on the right arm and another slash is there across the bottom corner of the crest with some light staining and a few material pulls at the waist. A nice, all sewn-on style, issued just before the team switched to the v-style sweaters the following season.
