Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

Sergei Fedorov's game-worn Warrior gloves were obtained at the 2010 IIHF world championships, though the veteran Russian used a different model during the tournament. Likely used during Team Russia practices, they are the model of gloves Fedorov wore with Washington in 2008-09. They clearly saw game use that season, the 1994 Hart Trophy winner's 19th and last in the NHL. Red-white-and-blue gamers in Capitals colors have "Fedorov" embroidered on each cuff and #91 on both thumbs. (Fedorov wore #29 for Russia in Germany.) The left glove retains the two white plastic panels Fedorov had stitched to the outside edge with black laces which he wore through the end of the 2009 playoffs for added protection for his injured hand. Nice game use shows with marks on the outer thumbs and wear on the palms, including a friction hole on the right glove. Obtained at the 2010 world championships in Germany, they come with an LOA.
