Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

Daniel Alfredsson used this Easton composite stick while representing Sweden in his fourth straight Olympics during the Vancouver 2010 men’s hockey tournament. “Alfredsson” is screened on the front of the shaft along one of the lines forming the cross of the blue-and-yellow Swedish flag, with his number “11” and the “Tre Kronor” crowns further down the shaft of his “Limited Edition” Easton S19. “Finland, Slovakia” – Sweden’s last two opponents in Vancouver – are handwritten in silver paint pen low on the back of the shaft. The Ottawa Senators captain and 2006 Olympic gold medalist scored three goals in four games, including Sweden’s final tally in a stunning 4-3 loss quarter-final loss to the Slovaks which eliminated the defending champions from the competition. This is the correct type of stick used by Alfredsson during the Vancouver Olympics. The stick retains his original tape jobs on the knob and blade and shows nice wear despite its limited use. Comes with an LOA.
