Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Evgeni Nabokov has twice signed his Team Russia game-used goalie stick from the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. The former San Jose goalie has added his #20 to his black marker signature on the top of the paddle of his Reebok 6K gamer, as well as his autograph across his white tape job on the front of the blade. After allowing just two goals while winning both of his starts during the round robin phase, Nabokov allowed six goals before he was replaced by Ilya Bryzgalov during Russia's 7-3 quarter-final loss to Canada. This game-used stick is the correct model used by Nabokov during the Olympic tournament. It retains his original tape jobs on the blade, handle and knob and it exhibits nice use, including red paint transfer from the goalposts on the back of the shaft. Comes with an LOA.
