Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Russian defenseman Andrei Markov has signed the blade of this Easton composite gamer which he used during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Markov has added his #79 to his white paint pen signature across his battle-scarred black bulldog tap job on the toe of the blade. Markov's Easton SE16 also retains his red grip tape handle on the knob. The Montreal Canadiens veteran contributed two assists in four games in Vancouver. This is the correct model of stick used by Markov during the 2010 Olympics. This gamer with "Markov" and "79" screened on the front of the shaft exhibits light but clear game wear, particularly in the form of puck gouges on the blade tape, one of which is where Markov's autograph begins. Comes with an LOA.
