Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Well-used twig from Pittsburgh superstar Evgeni Malkin is an Easton S19 composite one-piece with factory coding on the back of the shaft and "Gino" and "71" stamped on the front. Malkin has been branded with the nickname "Gino", a shorted version of the western pronunciation of his first name, Eugene. Taped at the handle in red grip wrap with white tape covering the blade. Nice use with puck marks and wear along the top of the blade tape job. This one was used by Malkin during the games of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver as a member of Team Russia and photographic evidence points to him using this exact model. Comes with a letter of authenticity.
