Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Fine example here of Toronto Maple Leaf forward Andy Blair's rookie card is from the rather elusive Hamilton Gum issue of 1933-34. Card #9 pictures the Winnipeg native who is said to have been the only mustachioed NHL player during his day. Blair skated on Toronto's second line with Ace Bailey and Baldy Cotton and scored twice in the Leafs' 6-4 Stanley Cup-clinching win over the Rangers in 1932. Graded EX+ 5.5 by PSA, this one is ready to join your ever-growing Leafs/pre-war stash.
