Actually quite fun to sift through these black and white cards from World Wide Gum's big 135-card issue of 1936-37, despite their admittedly rough condition. Rounded corners and at times some pretty heavy creases but several big names with all-legible backs. Number 1-Charlie Conacher (P) has dime-size paper loss on the back but decent (F) cards are 4-Barry, 23-Apps, 29-Clancy, 36-Clapper, 57-Patrick, 64-Lewis, 69-Weiland, 75-Howe, 96-Ross, 114-O'Connor RC and 123-Karakas. Heavily creased (P) cards are 8-Horner, 12-Tiny, 51-Busher, 91-N. Colville, 135-Stewart. Forty others have problem-free backs, with 11 hammered duplicates and eight trashed fillers.
