Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Fred Taylor, the legend who earned his "Cyclone" nickname for his furious rushes while playing defence for Ottawa and Renfrew, is captured here on his C56 rookie card. No unsightly or detracting creases to report, with rounded corners the most notable grade-lowering flaws. The object of numerous bidding wars in the early days of professional hockey, Cyclone also played center and rover and is the man asked to turn the sod for the Hockey Hall of Fame building. One of the grandest of them all and an absolute prerequisite to a serious rookie card/C56 ensemble.
