Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

To say that Tiger Woods won the 2000 U.S. Open going away is an understatement, indeed. Woods shot a blistering 65 to open the 100th anniversary edition of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, and followed that up with rounds of 69 and 71 before running away from the pack completely with a final round of 67. Woods finished 12 strokes ahead of the nearest competition with fan amazing aggregate of 272. Offered here is a Tiger Woods signed limited edition framed 2000 U.S. Open pin flag from Upper Deck Authenticates. Tiger has signed the upper left corner of this “100th U.S. Open Pebble Beach” flag in gold sharpie. The 13 ¼” x 21” flag is hand-numbered “102/500” and displayed on a red and white matte with a UDA holofoil affixed to it. Displayed in an 18 5/8” x 27” frame, it comes with a certificate of authenticity. Woods has also signed a magnificent “Tiger Roars” original art litho printed on a 30” x 40” canvas. This remarkable limited edition artwork is hand-numbered 161 of 175 with a UDA holofoil that corresponds to the one on the accompanying COA.
