Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

This one is a head-scratcher. Paul Reinhart's game-worn Sandow mesh Calgary Flames uniform dates back to the early 1980s but looks to have been doctored by the team's training staff for some reason or another. The back number "23" is made of numbers of two different styles and wear patterns and the plate looks original but the wear on it is lighter than the rest of the shirt. Again, the arm numbers have well-worn threes and fresher number twos. Overall, the shirt shows significant game wear with dozens of black stick marks and slashes, board burns and a few nice team repairs. Dual Sandow tags in the neck with the maker's logo screened across the back hem as well.
